My Love: Make Your Choice!
Data Protection Guidelines
Valid from: 28 November 2018
In the context of the registration to our Experimental Game services or in the context of their use you have given if necessary expressly your consent to the use of your data by us. The content of these consents can be retrieved by you at any time. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future by deleting your account or by sending us your revocation by post or email. We would like to point out that due to legal obligations, in particular tax and commercial regulations, we may be obliged to archive the relevant personal data even after the revocation has become effective. They will be deleted at the end of the respective statutory periods.
Please note that in the event that you do not consent to the use of your data or revoke your consent afterwards, you may not be able to use the Experimental Game services or only use them to a limited extent.
Within the scope of registering an Experimental Game account, you have agreed to the processing of your personal data to the extent explained below by activating the corresponding checkbox:
We may store the information provided by you during registration (email address, user name, password) until revoked to your Experimental Game account and use it for the identification of your person during registration as well as for communication within the scope of the offer of our services. In addition, we use the data for statistical purposes to improve the user friendliness and dissemination of the service. We may also use your email address to inform you about current events related to our services, such as discount promotions, new developments, other services provided by us, events and competitions.
We may store additional information and content (e.g., plain name, home address, birthday, telephone number, gender, hobbies) that you voluntarily provide to us as part of the Experimental Game Service, e.g., when creating a player profile or a forum profile, in addition to your Experimental Game account and use it to the same extent as your original registration data. We may also use the information stored about your Experimental Game account to tailor the advertising within our Experimental Game services to your specific interests by assigning you to specific interest groups based on that information. All data that you enter in your public player profile or a public forum profile can also be viewed by other registered users.
When using our games, we automatically collect, without your active involvement, a range of usage data on the game results and scores achieved via your account, the times of use and, if applicable, special services. This data is used to create statistics and ranking lists as well as to present your Experimental Game account to the public. We store these game statistics for your Experimental Game account. Your game statistics can also be viewed by other registered users via your public player profile and, in the form of rankings, by any non-registered third parties via the Internet, if necessary, by stating your user name.
If you use paid additional services of our services, you must provide additional data (first and last name, home address, birthday, telephone number, payment data if applicable, gender) as part of an additional registration process. We store this data for the processing and documentation of transactions, whereby we can also link the data with the data already stored for your Experimental Game account. We also collect and store information about your transactions for tax purposes and to provide you with appropriate customer support and detect abuse.
Finally, we also use technologies and tools that automatically collect data about your use of our experimental game services and about the use of advertisements and newsletters placed by us on third-party sites (so-called conversion tracking). This also includes data transmitted automatically by your browser such as your IP address, the duration of access, the pages displayed and information about the hardware you are using, your operating system, browser information, your screen resolution and your access provider. This data is collected by us and statistically evaluated in a pseudonymised form in order to analyse the use of our experimental game services and thus improve the service, adapt it to your needs and uncover security risks. We may also use this information to tailor the advertising within our services to your specific interests by assigning you to specific interest groups based on this information.
In the following data protection guidelines, we therefore inform you comprehensively about the type, scope and purpose of the collection, storage, use and processing of personal data on our APP (hereinafter: “Experimental Game Services”).

If you are under an obligation to share your payment information (e.g. account number if you give us the authority to debit your bank account) with us after you have entered into a fee-based contract with us, this information is required to process payments. The data will be stored until the deletion of the account to the existing Experimental Game account. As far as the use is carried by declarations of consent, the use takes place up to the receipt of the revocation. We would like to point out that due to legal obligations, in particular tax law and commercial regulations, we may be obliged to archive the relevant personal data beyond the time of effectiveness of the revocation. They will be deleted at the end of the respective statutory periods.
In addition to the information you independently transmit, we automatically collect a number of data when you use our websites and other experimental game services, in particular on the type and scope of use of our services without the user’s involvement.
The automatically collected data does not include directly personal data such as the IP assigned to you at the time of access (in anonymous form), the duration of access, the pages displayed and other data automatically transmitted by your PC, e.g. in the form of log files with information in particular on the hardware you are using, your operating system, browser information, language settings, your screen resolution and your access provider.
In addition, when using our Experimental Game services, we collect a variety of service-related data, such as the features of a service you use, game statistics, scores and achievements, user rankings and the time you spend playing our games, as well as the pages and links you access through our services. This information is stored about your Experimental Game account and is used for statistical evaluation of your usage (see below).
We use your data to enable you to use our services, to correct technical problems, to ensure the continued functioning of our products and services, and to improve and develop them according to user needs. We use the automatically collected usage data, which is not stored to your Experimental Game account, in particular for the following purposes: to determine the success of marketing measures, in particular conversion rates for advertisements and newsletters; to enable you to link our services to your public profiles on social networks or other third-party services; to process your orders and send you an order confirmation; to authenticate your software and to verify usage rights; to determine your approximate location for offering country and language related services and features, as well as statistical evaluations of your use of our services; to tailor the advertising within our services to your specific interests by assigning you to specific interest groups based on this information.
Your game statistics are also used to evaluate your gaming performance and rank you relative to other users. If you participate in competitions or other online gaming events, the statistical data generated by your participation (e.g. your results, rankings and successes) can be viewed by other users of our services with your user name. We use this information to create and publish ranking and comparison lists in order to emphasize the competitive nature, which is an essential factor of our services.
In addition to the cookies that we set when using our services, third parties may also place cookies when you visit our websites. On the one hand, this happens because we have commissioned third parties to collect information for us, e.g. for statistical usage analysis (e.g. in the context of the use of Google Analytics); on the other hand, because our pages contain content or advertisements from third parties. To access such third-party content, your browser may connect directly to the servers of the third-party providers, who may place their own cookies on your terminal device. Most browsers are automatically set to accept cookies when you visit a website. You can deactivate cookies or set your browser to warn you when cookies are being sent. However, if cookies are disabled, some areas of our website will not function properly. You can set your web browser to warn you when cookies are attempted to be placed on your computer or to limit the type of cookies you accept.
We may also use Flash cookies, also known as local shared objects, on our pages that use Adobe technology. Flash cookies are small files that resemble the browser cookies shown above and are used to store the website settings for the personalized appearance of the page. Like normal cookies, Flash cookies are displayed as small files on your PC. You can customize your settings under “Global Storage Settings” on the Adobe website. For more information about Flash Player security and privacy, visit the Adobe website at www.Adobe.com and the Macromedia website at http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/de/flashplayer/help/settings_manager.html.
Please note that if you disable cookies, you may not be able to use some of the features and functions of our services that require cookies. The cookies we use have a maximum lifespan of 6 months.
(b) Internet Protocol files
We may also store log files that your PC automatically transmits to our web server. These log files typically contain information about your computer or end device, in particular browser type/version, operating system used, URL of the referring web pages and date and time of access.
Experimental Game uses its own analytical metrics tool and third-party analysis technologies (the same for this) to collect data when you play our games. These tools and technologies collect information about your computer, browser, operating system, feature and page usage, any application software you use, and information about the type and extent of use of our games, including game metrics and statistics, and your purchasing behavior.
We partly use Google Analytics, a web analysis tool of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”) on our web pages. Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are stored on your PC, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website will generally be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. However, we use Google Analytics on our web pages with an IP anonymisation tool, with which your IP address recorded by Google Analytics is previously shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area and thus transmitted exclusively anonymously. Google uses the information collected to statistically evaluate your use of the website for us, to create reports on website activity and to provide us with other services associated with the website and Internet use. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not combined with other data from Google. You can deactivate the Google Analytics function by using a browser add-on which you can download at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout . To do this, you must install this browser add-on. This prevents analysis information from being sent to Google.
Please note that if you have activated an adblocker or similar programs, you may not be able to use the opt-out above.
(d) Clear GIFs and Zählpixel
Clear GIFs (also known as web bugs, beacons, tracking pixels, or tags) are small graphic images that are placed in a web page, web-based document, or email message. Clear GIFs are invisible to the user because they are usually very small (only 1 x 1 pixel) and have the same color as the background of the Web page, document, or e-mail message. We use Clear GIFs to collect statistical usage data about our web pages, features or other elements on a web page. Clear GIFs also enable us, for example, to track whether users access our websites through an advertisement placed by us and whether they register there or use a particular service. We may also use Clear GIFs in our e-mail advertisements or newsletters to track whether you open them and whether you open links in them. We use the data collected in this way for statistical purposes in order to analyse and improve the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns and other customer approaches. We may also use this information to tailor the ad impressions within our services to your specific interests by assigning you to specific interest groups based on this information.
- d) How long is usage data stored?
We store your data only as long as your account is active or as long as it is necessary to provide you with our services and to achieve the corresponding purpose, unless we have further consent or we are legally or contractually obliged to store data.
- anti-cheat and fraud prevention technology
When you play online, we monitor the gameplay using “anti-cheating software” to determine whether users are using cheating software or otherwise interfering with the gameplay intended by the game (“cheating”). This anti-cheating software will be installed on your device along with the game.
The anti-cheating software checks your game history, game files and, when in use, the memory (RAM) of your hardware to identify unauthorized third party programs running concurrently with your game and to modify game files that enable or promote cheating while you connect to our game online. “Unauthorized Third Party Programs” in this sense include, but are not limited to, “Addons”, “Mods”, “Hacks”, “Trainers” or other “Cheats” that allow you to interfere with or modify the gameplay provided by the Game.
If the Anti-Cheating Software detects the use of any unauthorized third party program or other unauthorized interference with the gameplay of the Game, the Game will automatically terminate and we will be notified that your Experimental Game account has been violated. This notice will include the date, time, and classification of the violation. The anti-cheating software will be disabled when you disconnect from the game server.

This website uses the function “demographic parameters” provided by Google Analytics. It makes it possible to generate reports providing information on the age, gender and interests of website visitors. The sources of this information are interest-related advertising by Google as well as visitor data obtained from third party providers. This data cannot be allocated to a specific individual. You have the option to deactivate this function at any time by making pertinent settings changes for advertising in your Google account or you can generally prohibit the recording of your data by Google Analytics as explained in section “Objection to the recording of data.” Data on the user or incident level stored by Google linked to cookies, user IDs or advertising IDs (e.g. DoubleClick cookies, Android advertising ID) will be anonymized or deleted after 14 month. In principle, we do not transmit any personal user data to third parties without your prior express consent. You may be able to share information with others through the Experimental Game Services, e.g. by entering personal information in a publicly viewable player or forum profile. In order to provide some experimental game services, we cooperate with service providers (e.g. payment service providers, hosting providers) who may process personal data in connection with the provision of the respective service according to our instructions on the basis of an order data processing agreement. A passing on of your data takes place in all other respects only in special exceptional cases, as far as we are obligated or entitled to this by law or on binding instruction of a public place.
We store and process the data collected in connection with the use of Experimental Game services exclusively on servers located within the European Union. We make reasonable efforts to protect your personal data and to ensure the security of our systems according to the current state of the art. For this purpose, we make use, among other things, of current encryption methods. Nevertheless, no method of transmission via the Internet or electronic data storage is 100% secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee against unauthorized access to our servers and systems.
On our website we use a number of plugins for social media platforms of the following companies:
Twitter: Twitter Inc., 1355 Market Street, Suite 900 , San Francisco, CA 94103, USA
Facebook: Facebook, Inc., 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, California 94025, USA
In order to protect your privacy, we integrate social plugins in such a way that they do not transfer data to the respective platform operator without your intervention. The plugins integrated by us require either a previous activation by you, which you can recognize by the corresponding activation button next to the plugin symbol, or the communication with the platform operator runs with the interposition of our own servers, so that no direct data flow with the platform operator takes place through your browser.
Please note that in the event that you actively share content via the integrated social plugins, information will still flow to the respective platform provider, which will then be assigned to your existing experimental game account and stored and used in accordance with the data protection conditions of the respective platform operator. Before actively using the social plugins, please check with the respective platform operator about the type and scope of data use.

Our website may be used without entering personal information. Different rules may apply to certain services on our site, however, and are explained separately below. We collect personal information from you (e.g. name, address, email address, telephone number, etc.) in accordance with the provisions of German data protection statutes.
